FUNCTIONAL ASSESSMENT, MASTERY SERIES
Introduction
He’s back. Min Trevor Kyi returns to the teaching world with his most exciting course to date, bringing with him over 30 years of clinical and teaching experience. This course will cover best-practices, research-based methodologies for working with clients with concussion, traumatic brain injury, multi-trauma, and complex overlay. Students will learn practical techniques to improve the reliability and validity of their work, and real-world skills to improve their lives and the lives of their patients.

- Concussion and traumatic brain injury – best practices assessment and treatment updates

Target Audience
Occupational therapists, physical therapists, kinesiologists, and other health professionals who wish to improve their functional assessment skills and the quality of their work. Skills imparted in this course will help any clinician to enhance a higher-level skillset for the evaluation of function. Attendees will leave this course with real-world, applicable skills to immediately improve their practice.
About Your Instructor
Min Trevor Kyi is an occupational therapist with more than 30 years of clinical and teaching experience. He is a clinical professor with the UBC Faculty of Medicine, Department of Occupational Science and Occupational Therapy. He is a previous recipient of the Faculty of Medicine Award for Outstanding Clinical Instructor. He has previously taught FCE and Advanced FCE courses to thousands of students throughout Canada, the United States, Europe, and Asia. He has testified as an expert witness to the Supreme Court on approximately 100 occasions in the arenas of: functional capacity evaluation, cost of future care, occupational therapy, and ergonomics.
